Role Overview
Are you called to build a faith that lasts in the next generation?
Ovid Community Church, a vibrant, multi-generational church with a 150-year legacy of faith, is seeking a dynamic and spiritually mature leader to serve as our next Pastor of Next-Gen Ministries. Located in Anderson, Indiana, we are a warm and welcoming congregation of 150-200 people passionate about seeing lives transformed by the Gospel.
We are looking for a key partner in ministry who will lead our discipleship efforts for the next generation, from cradle to college. If you have a heart for seeing kids, students, and families grow in their love for Jesus, this could be the role for you.
The Opportunity
As the Pastor of Next-Gen Ministries, you will champion a unified vision for discipleship across our children’s and student ministries. You will be responsible for creating an environment where young people are known, loved, and challenged to follow Jesus. This is a unique role where you will directly lead one ministry area (either children’s or youth) based on your gifts and experience, while providing vision and strategic oversight for the other.

Develop Leaders: Recruit, train, and shepherd a dedicated team of volunteers, fostering a healthy and life-giving ministry culture.
Provide Pastoral Care: Intentionally invest in and care for students, families, and volunteers, walking with them through life’s challenges and triumphs.
