Overview

Welcome to Cornerstone Church. We seek an experienced Executive Pastor to serve our congregation in Uxbridge, MA. The role requires a passion for leadership development, and practical stewardship (running stuff well and getting stuff done). The right leader will possess a pastoral heart and instinct, a passion for gospel-driven ministry, and proven organizational leadership and management skills. Responsibilities

• Complement the Lead Pastor and collaborate with the Elders in a team-player partnership.
• Be able to plan strategically by putting “feet” to the Lead pastor’s vision for the mission and ministry of the church.
• Operational management of some of the church staff (paid and unpaid).
• Financial oversight of operations and ministry budgets.
• Oversight of the Building and Grounds team.
• Oversee assimilation process for the church (i.e. guest reception, membership process, volunteer coordination etc.).
• Implement & oversee prayer ministry.
• Oversee creation of church publications, materials, and merchandise.
• Lead the church’ renovation projects and/or building programs including capital fundraising campaigns, master planning, design and architecture, contractor selection, and construction.
• Oversee all use of the facility and the church calendar.
• Participate in the counseling ministry.
• Occasional preaching.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A vital and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:5-8)
• Meets the biblical requirements of an elder (1 Timothy 3:1-7)
• At least a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in organizational and administrative tasks.
• An excellent listener and peacemaker.
• Solution-oriented.
• Ability to lead through change, knowing when to push ahead and when to wait.
• Passionate about developing people for ministry.
• Proficient in organizational and administrative tasks and experienced with various church administration software.
