Provide leadership to and develop the Kids Ministry (birth-4th grade) while partnering with parents in the discipleship of their children.
Recruit, onboard, coach, train, encourage, and communicate regularly with volunteers. Develop teachers in the Kids Ministry and teach as needed.
Select, edit, and adapt curriculum for Sundays, and ensure the needed supplies are prepared.
Recruit, schedule, and supervise the childcare team members for small group nights (various Wednesdays) and special events.
Create and lead the planning and coordination for new kids ministry events (6-8 events per year), partner with the Student Ministry Team for family events, and assist with other events as needed.
Build relationships with volunteers, parents, and kids in the church and the community.
Oversee and develop the Kids Ministry budgets.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
