Responsibilities

• Grace is seeking a part-time (10 hours per week) Director of Children’s Ministries to lead our Sunday morning ministry for children from birth–5th grade. This will include:
  • Fostering a safe, fun, and loving atmosphere for kids, families, and leaders
  • Recruiting, training, and leading a team of teachers from the congregation
  • Implementing a biblical curriculum for different age groups
  • Ensuring the planning, scheduling, and communicating of all aspects of the ministry
  • Integrating the children’s ministry into the life of the whole church
  • Regularly communicating with parents
  • Implementing child safety protocols
  • Planning and hosting outreach events periodically throughout the year
  • Possibly in the future: developing a mid-week program and/or a summer VBS

Requirements

• 2 years leading or teaching children’s ministry in a like-minded church

Benefits

• This is a paid position, at 10 hours per week.
• Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
